Yes, I sort of agree. I also wish it was fluid or at least had an elastic width, but it doesn’t. I like Barecity, a lot actually, but I do wish it was slightly larger or at least more flexible. It’s a rather 1.5-ish theme.

After trying to first work with the Kubrik layout I stumbled on a thread that contained a quote “working with the kubrik layout is difficult.” Then I found this page. I first tried the Burfield layout only to discover that it did not support widgets and a series of other oddities that I knew would frustrate me to no end in terms of trying to customize it. But to its credit it was much easier to edit then Kubrick.
I just downloaded Barecity and after about 6 or 7 adjustments to some very clear and concise css code using CSSEdit I was happy.
My girlfriend has a little black and white bag with cute piggie illustrations on it that she uses to carry her digital camera. In one of the squares where there is no piggie it says ‘simple is best.’ In this case I could not agree more.
